Wafa Ben Hassine – that’s me. I am a writer, human rights advocate, and law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. My interests include sustainable development in the global south – particularly in the Maghreb – and studying the new legal framework that is emerging in post-Ben Ali Tunisia. Uhm, also – I never know what else to say in these “about me” sections.

More than anything though, I am a woman who is busy living in between two worlds: her country of birth, the United States, and the country that her heart beats in, Tunisia – and all identities in between.

If you want to know anything more, simply read along, or contact me at wafa@benhassine.com.
